Crochet along 2015 week 6

Ik word elke week blijer met mijn deken. Het patroon van week 6 was ook weer prachtig. Langs deze weg nogmaals een dikke pluim voor de twee ontwerpsters, Tertia en Jolanda. Wat vinden jullie er tot nu toe van?

Crochet along 2015 week 5

Week 5 van de cal2015 is af en ik kan er niet blijer mee zijn. De kleuren vallen me 100% mee en het is zo leuk om te doen. Op naar week 6!

Finaly finished week 5 of the cal2015 and I couldn't be happier. I'm simply loving the colours and I'm having loads of fun. Time to start with week 6!

Crochet along 2015 week 4

Ik loop een beetje achter met posten, ondertussen is week vijf al bijna af en ik heb week vier nog niet laten zien. Dat gaan we dus maar snel even doen. Deze week bestond uit drie toeren granny-style, lekker makkelijk, zeker na die puffsteek!

I'm slacking a bit when it comes to keeping you updated about the cal2015. I almost got week 5 ready, but didn't show you week 4. Time to change that. This week was all about 3 rows in granny-style, nice and easy.

Een prinses voor mijn prinses - A princess for my princess

Een tijdje geleden vroeg mijn oudste dochter of ik voor haar eens een prinsesje wou haken. Op zo'n lieve vraag kan je natuurlijk niet anders dan ja zeggen. Ik mocht van haar zelf kiezen welke prinses, de jurk moest alleen roze zijn. Want zoals jullie allemaal weten, dragen prinsessen nu eenmaal roze jurken. Uiteindelijk kwam ik bij de prinses van Lilliliis uit. Zie hier het resultaat.

A little while ago, my oldest daughter asked me to make her a princess. You can hardly say no to such a sweet question. She had no specific demands to which princess I should make, the dress just needed to be pink. Because princesses wear pink dresses and only pink dresses. I ended up picking the princess designed by Lilliliis. This is how my version looks like.

Mijn dochter was er superblij mee en ik was zelf ook tevreden met het resultaat. Zalig als je haaksels zo in de smaak vallen!

My daughter loved the result and mam was pleased with it aswell. Always nice when your hard work is appreciated!

Crochet along 2015 week 3

Ik geef het toe. Week drie van de cal2015 was best een uitdaging. Het moeilijkste aan deze puffsteek waren die acht lussen waar dan je draad door moest. De haaksters en hakers die ook meedoen met de cal, weten vast wat ik bedoel. Maar het resultaat mag er best wezen. Op naar week vier!

I have to admit it. Week 3 of the cal2015 was quite the challenge. The hardest part were the eight loops throughout which you had to pull the thread. The ladies (and maybe men) that are also making this cal, all know what I'm talking about. But the result is real nice. Ready to face week four!

Crochet along 2015 week 2

Week 2 van mijn crochet along is af. Ik ben heel tevreden over het resultaat tot nu toe, de kleuren vallen heel goed mee en de Stylecraft haakt zalig. Ik kijk al uit naar de volgende toeren die vrijdag worden vrijgegeven. Voorlopig kan ik me ook goed aan de planning houden, hopelijk blijft dat zo.

The second week of my crochet along is done. I'm thrilled with the result so far, the colours are turning out great and the Stylecraft is awesome to use. I just can't wait for the next part of the pattern to be released next friday. Let's hope I can keep up the good work.

Crochet along 2015 week 1

Ik ben ook zo ver! Mijn centrale granny voor de cal2015 is af. Ik sta te springen om vrijdag verder te kunnen haken. De kleuren lijken best veel op die van Jolanda maar ik kan er niets aan doen dat blauw mijn lievelingskleur is! Het wordt mijn deken, dus het is belangrijk dat ik hem mooi vind. En raad eens... Ik vind hem geweldig. Op naar week twee!

Alright! My granny for the cal2015 is finished. I can't wait for the next piece of the pattern to become available on friday! The colours are very similar to the ones that Jolanda is using, but like I mentioned, blue is my favourite colour. And because the blanket is for me, it's very important that I like it. And guess what... I love it. Week two, here I come!
